How do I create an account on legaldigm?
You can create an account with email and password, or via Google/Apple. Click 'Sign in' in the top right and choose 'Create account'. You must confirm your email before signing in.

How do I ask my first legal question?
Write your question in plain language. Briefly describe the background (private/company), the area (contract, employment, etc.) and the municipality. The more context you provide, the better the answer.

I forgot my password — what do I do?
Go to the sign-in page, click 'Forgot password', enter your email and we'll send a reset link. The link is valid for 1 hour.

Can I change the email address on my account?
Go to Profile → Settings → Change email. A confirmation email is sent to the new address that you must click within 24 hours.

What is the difference between Free, Pro and Premium?
Free gives you 5 questions and 2 searches to try the service. Pro (199 SEK/mo) gives around 30 questions, 25 searches and full access to the legal database. Premium (499 SEK/mo) gives around 100 questions, unlimited searches and access to the contract generator with 119 templates as well as e-signing.

How do I cancel my subscription?
Go to Profile → Manage subscription. You'll be redirected to the Stripe customer portal where you can cancel or pause your subscription. You keep access until the end of the billing period.

How do I create a contract with the contract generator?
Go to /avtalsgenerator, select the contract type (e.g. rental agreement, NDA, employment contract), fill in the form and click 'Generate contract'. The AI creates a legally correct contract that you can download as PDF or send for e-signing.

How does e-signing work?
Once the contract is generated, click 'Send for signature' and enter the counterparty's name and email. They receive a link to legaldigm.se where they can review and sign digitally. You're notified when everything is signed.

How do I search the legal database?
Go to /rattsdatabasen and type your search. You can search free text, legal provisions (e.g. 'JB 12:42'), case numbers or keywords. Advanced filters are available for court, date and area of law.

Which courts and documents does the legal database cover?
Supreme Court (HD), Supreme Administrative Court (HFD), all courts of appeal, administrative courts of appeal, administrative courts, the Labour Court and specialised courts. Plus 5,000+ statutes (SFS), 100,000+ parliamentary documents (bills, SOU, Ds, motions) and EU law.

How reliable are the AI answers?
Our AI is based on Swedish legislation, case law and preparatory works with built-in rules to avoid hallucinations. We always link to sources. For complex or legally binding decisions, consult a lawyer.

Are my questions used to train the AI model?
Your conversations are stored securely in your profile but are never used to train AI models. We apply strict data protection under GDPR.

How do you handle my personal data (GDPR)?
We fully comply with GDPR. Data is stored within the EU. Go to Profile → Privacy to export all your data or request account deletion. Read our full privacy policy at /privacy.

Do you support two-factor authentication (2FA)?
We use Google/Apple Sign-In which gives you the level of security your identity provider offers. Native 2FA via authenticator app is planned.
